The tattoo diaries

I have been coveting a tattoo since I was in high school but somehow never got around to getting one. Perhaps it was fear, or perhaps it just wasn't meant to be. Long story short, I finally took the plunge recently after a good friend set it up for me. And I can tell you, I am in love! There is something so liberating about getting a tattoo especially if it really has significant meaning to you. I really wanted something small and something that I wouldn't regret......

This was the initial inspiration

I wanted to get a mash up of two things that mean a lot to me. My darling son XYLON and fashion.

This is how it all got started....

And this is the beautiful end result. I have had it for almost a week and I couldn't be happier. I am really happy that I waited till now. Back then I probably would have gotten something ridiculous. I have too mention that the tattoo artist was extremely professional and as you can see that he does a pretty good job.
